As expected. A few stacks got mixed up.

For the last 16 years of my life I've worked in retail (an agonizing sentence to write.) dealing with my share of good and bad plastic bags. Standard - Most plastic bags, when properly cut, can support a significant amount of weight without having to double them. I would consider what I received from this company to be a very standard bag. The handles were cut very evenly, the side and bottom edges appeared to be sealed well, and I would say about 90% of the stacks had a center piece attached that you would use at the checkout to hold the bag open. We bought these bags for our flea market and they have held up very well for that purpose. Children's clothes, larger toys, awkwardly shaped items hold up well, no problems, no tears. If I were still in retail now and was either using bags without a center tab or handing them to the checkout without a center tab, that would definitely annoy me. There's nothing worse than a bag slowing down the packing process. But since I had to use garbage bags as a last resort to pack my things, I would take them with me any day of the week. Otherwise these are pretty standard bags. If I were running my own business I wouldn't hesitate to use them as an option until I get a bad batch but by the looks of it it's a solid $10 product.

Pros
  • Our bags are 0.60 mil thick, which is thicker than regular grocery bags.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
