Does not work immediately after installation in the tire shop

To be programmed. No, that is not so. The workshop recalibrated my TPMS after installation and this sensor still didn't show up on my car's display. I drove 30 minutes at 45-55 mph. Nothing yet. I researched the issue online and one person suggested turning the car off, turning the key but not starting the engine and then leaving it like that for more than 20 minutes. I left it like that for 30 minutes, took out the key and started the car. It worked; The car saw this sensor. Why this thing did not respond to the process of opening a tire shop remains a mystery. And why did I need some weird process to get it working? If I need to replace another sensor I will try another brand. This sensor was installed on a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Limited.
