I started returning this item but decided to try again. With a few different washers lying around, I accidentally picked up the wrong rubber washer. Yes! After installing the correct washer and using Teflon tape there will be no more leaks. One problem I had was that it would tighten before I had the on/off contact where I wanted it, which was at the top of the connection. It's very tight and I don't want to tear the threads so I'll leave it where it is for now. The included wrench and teflon tape are a good idea, but if you decide to remove them in the future, you can keep this wrench somewhere safe. Works great so far!
