My wife makes some of the best apple pies. She bought her original Pampered Chef Peeler over a decade ago and wouldn't want to make an apple pie without it. It's easy to use and allows you to get even slices that yield excellent pies. As far as I can tell, the design hasn't changed over the years. It was good then and it is good now. The last time she used it, she mentioned that it was slightly rusty and the knife was difficult to use. I suspect the blade is dull. I went online and found this exact replacement. Typical for Revain Prime, it was delivered quickly. While this is a device you can live without, I doubt you'll regret your purchase once you receive it.
