Flannel isn't what I expected
I've used a variety of flannel fabrics over the years and because the yellow rags in the photo looked almost exactly like the ones I was using I ordered a pack rag. When I hold them in my hands now, they look like they've been steam ironed. There was no noticeable fuzz or softness to the touch. I hope that after machine washing they will become softer and more flannel-like.
