Review on πŸ”§ Revive & Rework: Granite, Marble, Quartz Countertops and Tiles Repair Kit for Perfect Restoration, Enhance Durability & Seamless Finishing by Eric Carr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This repair kit does what it says on the tin

I gave this repair kit a 5 out of 5 because it did what it said it did - repaired a crack in my granite countertop. I had a small crack on the edge of a granite countertop that is only 7 months old (wife is angry). A friend recommended this kit on Revain. I placed an order and the set arrived on the second day. The instructions that come with the kit are pretty clear. They tell me to clean the area of the crack before applying and make sure there is no grease on it. Then you need to mix the glue in the large tube with the hardener in the small tube in a 10:1 ratio (there was a spoon included, I assumed that's where you mix the two, but I mixed them on aluminum foil); stir to ensure they are well mixed with the stick that comes in the kit (I mixed for 3 minutes, that's enough). Then I applied the mixture to the crack making sure it covered the crack (my lesson is not to apply too much as you will end up spending more time sanding while it dries). Wait 3 hours for the mixture to dry. The final step is sanding with sandpaper until everything is flat. Now the rift is sealed and hard to find. Also, I really wish the seller would provide more sandpaper (they supply 2), but that's probably my fault for putting too much compound on the crack. So I used a sandpaper.
