I got this because our old one mysteriously disappeared and we were long overdue for an upgrade! To be honest I didn't expect it to be so amazing, have so many different features and come with extra batteries, velcro straps and an extension probe! It's way nicer than I thought it would be at such a great price! Even the box it came in is decent enough to store it and accessories! I LOVE that it has an alarm to let me know when the food is ready, a built in bottle opener, very easy to clean, it comes with nice detailed instructions and meat temp instructions (both on the thermometer itself and in the paper version). , choice of meat type, temperature maintenance, foldable probe, detachable wire probe (can even be used as a wine probe or on the grill and left in the meat to control the temperature until ready!), and super easy to use and read! It comes with velcro straps to slip on and has subtle magnets on the back! Even my brother-in-law (he is the chef) was amazed at how great it is! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I highly recommend this product!
