Review on 🧶 Ultimate Knitter's Pride Magma Fold-Up Pattern Holder: Conveniently Sized 19.65 X 11.81-Inch Organizer by Gelin Battle

This product is amazing! Please note that I have a large magma and I find it odd that there are reviews for three different products here rather than separate reviews for different sizes which are obviously very different. The Large Magma Stencil Holder measures 10" x 12" and accommodates a standard 8.5 x 11 stencil booklet or page. Now I can carry patterns printed from my computer and they stay flat and won't get ruined in my knitting bag. The pocket on the inside of the front cover is larger than I expected; It's also large enough to hold an 8.5 x 11 brochure/sheet of paper. A long magnet for use as a line marker must be used in the longitudinal direction; If you need to mark your point in a short direction (that's the only way I've used it) you'll probably want to find a shorter rod. Three little magnets, meant to hold everything in place, are so STRONG that when I dropped them they clung violently together and I had a hard time separating them. I won't make that mistake again (I wanted to see if they would hold the whole book in place, not just a few pages - the answer is no, they're not that strong. Basically, I keep it on my lap or put it on my knitting bag, but if you have a table to put your work on, you can use it as shown in the product photo. Otherwise used to keep the product closed. As mentioned, the pen holder loop is too big for the included pen; since such a handle would prevent the folder from being closed. The buttonhole should be made of a slightly stretchy material (but I suspect the elastic will tear and tear over time, allowing the fabric to get better) and should be on the front edge, not the top. I think you could do without the pen loop entirely as it is an add-on and completely unnecessary for holding the stencils. It's just a nice addition that would be even better if it actually worked.
