I don't have much experience with brake lines but I used PVC steel rods on the passenger side of my wife's car before realizing the rest of the brake lines were also rusting. I thought that would be a good idea. I made the flash myself, everything holds up well. The disadvantage of steel cords is that they are not very easy to process in spool form. Sticks of it are relatively light. But if you have a piece that is 10 feet long, you need to bend it 90 degrees. much luck. I would like to use a nickel-copper lead because I've heard it's a lot more flexible, which is what I need. If your car has straight sections and high visibility sections, this works well. The product stretches easily, is difficult to bend, and can be used if you can reach and bend it.
