Whoever complains about the brittleness of hard drives—whether they are made by Seagate, Hitachi, or someone else—should remove the computer's UNDER PSU and replace it with the POWER SUPPLY. No one will endure long if you consume just one gruel. So, in order for computer hardware to last a long time and be bug-free, it needs a STABLE and CLEAN power supply. I hope this Seagate will last at least as long as my first 500GB Seagate (72002022, by the way), which is already six years old. Wishing everyone luck.
