Meets my needs. Works well as an HDMI switch. No problem powering my ceiling speakers and bookshelf speaker. Modern connectivity with enough power for a medium surround sound setup. I like the speaker calibration feature. I will say that the "smart" UI sucks, is slow when using a web browser and sometimes even freezes. With the Android app, it is better to control the receiver over the network. Receiver interfaces must catch up with the market. Of course I have a 2013 model and my Sammy Smart TV will beat this receiver in terms of UI/GUI speed. Requires just under 4U of rack space.
