There is no cover under the mirror and a cable connector unsuitable for such models.

This mirror physically fits my 1998 4-door Ford Explorer but does not fit the wiring harness which I believe looks like an OEM non-electric drive mirror. I'm not disappointed with the price for it, but I'm very unhappy that the information provided doesn't make the specs clear. My car has lights on the bottom of the mirrors. There is NO backlight in this mirror that I could do without, but I think that's why there is a different wiring connection. whether the wiring is suitable for your car. Delivery and especially packaging was great.
