Review on πŸ’¨ Maxx Air 18" Residential Wall Mount Fan - Commercial Grade for Garage & Shop with Easy Operation and Powerful CFM by Dee Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

well built old school

The fan is easy to install, very well made. First check in the garage. The flow pattern is very linear. From 10 feet away, the air appears to be about 3 feet wide. From 15 feet it looks like the airflow is about 4 feet. My flag moved about 28 feet in the garage on all three settings. According to the instructions, the overload protection is deactivated. I would assume that if the motor gets too hot, it will shut off. Mine goes in the attic before airing. I'm going to direct it into the hot air dead zone I have there. I have a gable exhaust fan and 2 turbines on the roof. The fan seems pretty well balanced with 3 settings. The engine block looks good. I'll update the review again in a few months. update 20.08. The fan still works fine. It is in the attic and is quite quiet. The engine gets a little warm. I think it's ok but I use it at 2 hour intervals for fire protection. Balance is still good with no stuttering.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
