I ordered these at the same time as ordering a top entry toilet as I can no longer store a scoop on the lid of the box. Luckily the holder that comes with this spoon is big enough to hold other shapes and sizes of spoons as I stopped using the spoon after about a week. The handle is too weak to easily scrape clumps of urine off the bottom and sides of the box, and the holes in the scoop are so small (and so few) that it took forever to sift through the dirt. When I finished scooping up the box, my hand was always steady, so I went back to the same scoop I've used for ten years, a Van Ness cat litter scoop (in various colors) that also fits in a holder. And I love the holder: I've put it next to the tray in my (harsh, bumpy) basement and it's never tipped over, although it's narrow enough not to get in the way of cats jumping. in and out of the box.
