Allows access to hard to reach places
I bought this tool to install a factory hitch receiver on my 2020 Rav4. Six of the eight bolts attached to the frame are only accessible with a wrench. I was able to use this tool with my torque wrench to access the required bolts and tighten them to spec. By using the torque wrench at a 90 degree angle to the wrench, I was able to avoid calculations or adjustments to the torque settings. Note: Make sure your torque wrench measures both clockwise and counterclockwise torque if you need to switch this adapter to different sides of the wrench (it reverses the direction you turn the torque wrench to get the to tighten fasteners).
