Working on the cylinder head on my 70 BSA Lightning, tightening the head would have been impossible without tools, DIY or DIY. THE! So simple, works great. And yes, it's a Whitworth 5/16. Can't stick a torque wrench in a bottleneck, here's your answer. Bargain at all costs.

I'm a helicopter mechanic, I don't use this tool often, but it comes in very handy when I or someone in the hangar needs it. We use it for large box wrenches rather than buying expensive large crow's feet. If you are using it to tighten devices directly from the torque wrench, you will need to REDUCE the torque on the torque wrench as the arm gets longer. (see photo for calculation). I've read that people loosen the screws on this tool by over tightening, be careful.

I bought this tool to install a factory hitch receiver on my 2020 Rav4. Six of the eight bolts attached to the frame are only accessible with a wrench. I was able to use this tool with my torque wrench to access the required bolts and tighten them to spec. By using the torque wrench at a 90 degree angle to the wrench, I was able to avoid calculations or adjustments to the torque settings.
