The alarm clock isn't very loud

So someone in our family left the basement freezer door open. All of our frozen meats, soups, lasagna and more have been thawed and brought to room temperature for over 48 hours. Big Loss $. I bought this 'alert' to make sure if this ever happens again we'll notice. This is a decent temperature sensor with a remote sensor. It has an alarm function where you set the range of acceptable temperatures. An alarm is triggered outside this range. So you can set it from -20F to 25F for example and if your freezer gets warmer than 25F or colder than -20F it will beep. You can adjust this range from -58F to 200F. The problem is that the alarm clock is pretty quiet. You won't hear him across two rooms. Maybe not even in the same room. Also, it only beeps 5 times, then it's silent for 1 minute 13 seconds and 5 more beeps and so on. So you can walk by your fridge in silence for 73 seconds and not know you have an alarm. I'm looking for a louder signal. This is good for temperature control, but don't expect an alarm if you have a freezer in your garage, for example.
