Paid a little more for a real T-piece and didn't save on an alternative product. The instructions for my 2008 Lexus RX350 were a bit lacking, but it connected very easily with just two additional unused connectors. As mentioned in other reviews, I removed too many panels to access the ports. The taillight connectors are very high up next to the lights themselves and getting the 12v from the battery was a messy job. Estimated installation time was almost 2 hours but I really took my time and didn't want to break any of the fitment details. Take your time and read the instructions carefully. I probably saved over $150 installing Uhaul.
