Installed on GMC Acadia 2008 2wd - Front Brakes. The box contained 4 brake pads, 4 anti-rattle clips and some silicon grease. Fits perfectly, doesn't squeak and holds up great. The tools you will need for the installation are: jack, jack stands, 22mm socket (for factory nuts), 13mm socket for the caliper bolt, ratchet, torque wrench and about 1.25 hours. Easy installation: 1) Open the master cylinder cover 2) Block the rear wheels, loosen the front wheel nuts, jack up the car and place the jacks under the subframe. 3) Remove front wheel, then loosen lower caliper bolt. 3) Pivot the caliper up (you may need a small pry bar to lift the caliper) and use a mechanical cable to hold the caliper up. 4) Remove both brake pads and anti-rattle clips. 5) Using one of the old pads and a large clip, slowly push the pistons back into the caliper. 6) Install new anti-rattle clips and apply a small amount of lubricant to the contact points with the brake shoe. 7) Install new brake pads 8) Thread caliper back down and torque caliper bolt to 47 ft-lbs (per AllData service manual) 9) Install wheel and torque lug nuts to 140 ft-lbs ( per AllData service manual) 10) Slowly depress the brake pedal several times until pedal movement returns to normal 11) Repeat for the other side 12) Ride and enjoy your new brakes!
