Description of πŸ”΄ ACDelco Gold 17D1169ACH Ceramic Front Disc Brake Pad Set - Enhanced Performance and Durability for Brake System

Tested to SAE J2784 for braking effectiveness, along with Noise/Vibration/Harshness (NVH) and durability/wear testing for assurance of quality. Ceramic, semi-metallic, and organic formulas provide safety and reliability for a range of vehicle applications. Integrally molded - friction material molded to backing plate for bond integrity. Premium shims, slots, and chamfers help to diminish noise, vibration, and braking harshness. Stamped backing plate allows for proper pad movement within the caliper assembly, reducing noise, brake pulsation, and helps to protect against premature wear. Some ACDelco Gold parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco Professional. Premium aftermarket replacement part. Manufactured to meet specifications for fit, form, and function for General Motors vehicles as well as most makes and models.

Stops My Traverse: Replacement parts

They stop my 2011 Chevy Traverse paired with Revain AC Delco Pro brake rotors. The kit includes anti-rattle clips and caliper grease.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Not the best

Bad design, pads wrong, can't stay in place

I used these front brake pads on Buick. They are of poor quality as the pads have a lot of fixation and slip out of position. Unable to contact for refund after attempting to contact Revain

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No instructions

Great brake pads! (Chevy Traverse, 2012 LS)

Replaced front brake pads on my 2012 Chevy Traverse LS with these pads, fit perfectly; replaced rotors with ACDelco 18A2497; No problems or noise in 2200 miles so far. Virtually no brake dust. zero noise.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as fat as other options

Bad choice for spare parts

You get what you pay for. These pads suck, ordered a kit for a Buick Enclave. The pads arrived with the seals removed and all parts in Acdelco packaging. Tried to install but didn't work. The pads were over 1/8 inch larger than the caliper brace with no brake hardware. The part number was the same as the old ones I took out of the car, only the old ones were shorter, no quality control.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Medium quality hardware. See the pads wear out

Not impressed - I only normally use Bosch pads but decided to give it a try. First, clips and substrates are not of the best quality. The clamps are difficult to keep in place and most of them were bent. The bottom panels were loose when I took the pads out of the box and didn't attach them to the pad. More difficult to install than they should be for the OEM product. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great brake pads

I bought a different brand for my 2017 GMC Acadia and within a few weeks they were creaking and wearing out. I drive 100 miles every day and of course that increases wear but these other pads only lasted about a month. Well I bought these other ACDelco brands and not only did they come with lube packs, they looked better, with better backing materials, and on top of that they lasted over a month! So I am very happy with this purchase and will take this brand for my other car. Easy installation,

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • boring packaging

2008 Acadia Front Brake Installation

Installed on GMC Acadia 2008 2wd - Front Brakes. The box contained 4 brake pads, 4 anti-rattle clips and some silicon grease. Fits perfectly, doesn't squeak and holds up great. The tools you will need for the installation are: jack, jack stands, 22mm socket (for factory nuts), 13mm socket for the caliper bolt, ratchet, torque wrench and about 1.25 hours. Easy installation: 1) Open the master cylinder cover 2) Block the rear wheels, loosen the front wheel nuts, jack up the car and place the…

Pros
  • Very Impressive

  • Vulgarity
