Let me start by saying that I have been using Ryobi 18V+ONE tools for years and have always been amazed by their quality and performance . I have drills, circular saws, saber saws, brush cutters, nail pullers, hammer drills, disc cutters and flashlights. They all use the same batteries and work perfectly. I needed an angle grinder to remove the heads from the bolt guide safety bolts that I am replacing. Rather than running an extension throughout the house, based on my previous experience with the Ryobi ONE+, I decided to buy their angle grinder. I couldn't be less impressed. The device turns off every 20-30 seconds, which requires turning the power switch off and on again. There isn't enough torque when it's running and it drains battery power very quickly. I could barely cut off a screw head on one battery charge. This project had a deadline, so I bought a $12 angle grinder from Harbor Freight, cut off the discs, and got the job done quickly.
