Exactly what I was looking for.
At first I was skeptical to find anything that could extend the life of my new Alienware M17 R4 by lowering the temperatures while still running at peak performance. The idle temperature is around 34ยฐC for the CPU and GPU. When researching, I couldn't find any information on whether I should get them for my new Alienware. So if you have a new gaming laptop model I would definitely recommend them instead of taxing your internal fans.
