Won't connect to Windows 10

I have a brand new HP laptop with Windows 10 and this camera will not connect to it when its plugged in via USB cable. There is no software for the camera so it is impossible to update. This camera was a huge waste of money and I highly recommend not purchasing it.

It is compatible with both PC laptops and desktops, making it a versatile accessory for all types of computer users

It was plug & play as long as I didn''t shut down my computer, then USB connection would be lost, and I''d need to un/re-plug it in and reconfigure my settings (Win 10). Tried with MS Teams, Facebook messenger - in all apps color balance was poor, couldn''t change the zoom or fix the focus, and lack of software settings meant I couldn''t adjust anything. Sent it back.
