It is extremely versatile and flexible in positioning, as well as lightweight. It folds up into a much smaller package than I expected which is great. I really like that I can only use one leg as a monopod. The camera can be easily attached to a tripod thanks to the quick release clamp. I like the security feature that requires you to pull a screw to remove the camera. The number of positions you can put and lock the legs in is amazing and easy. The ball joint at the top of the mount is very flexible and easy to manipulate and snap into place, the 360 degree swivel function is great for videos or multiple exposures. I'm an amateur photographer and I wanted something better than my cheap one. This tripod is great for its price.
