After reading reviews and specs of over a dozen different tripods I chose this one for my upcoming vacation. First, realize that the purpose of this model is to TRAVEL. It is lightweight and very compact when folded. It fits in the side water bottle pocket on my backpack (but I usually let one leg hang out so it's not too tight).
