4.5 year old son loved it. I immediately bought another set. We help him with the diagram, but actually he's pretty good at reading the picture instructions after we've done a few projects together. He took it to his PreK class to share and returned home without a few details. I've just been to the manufacturing facility and it looks like you can get free replacement parts. How cool is that? I really hope I get it in the mail. My husband and I are very happy with this type of toy and my son is proud to collect something cool. We love that you can use the same elements in many different projects. This is something that definitely rivals Lego when it comes to a toy that uses your brain and opens your child's mind. I want his preschool to invest in these classroom kits. I could just buy a few sets and donate them to the school if they let me. All children should be able to have this experience.
