We bought this as a very early introduction to electricity for our 3 year old. There are enough parts to make it interesting without being overwhelming. The cool glowing elements and moving parts dazzled him and are still exciting after a few weeks. The parts are strong enough to play with. I love the picture clues so young pre-readers can build them themselves - my child is too young for this but I think a 4 or 5 year old would do just fine. I highly recommend this set.

My 6 year old nephew loves it. Months later he still plays with it for hours. The perfect starter kit at a great price. The instructions are child-friendly and easy to understand.
