Review on Exquisite Moonmo Handmade Matryoshka Nesting Dolls: Traditional Novelty & Gag Toys by Richard Gross

I first bought several sets of "unfinished" nesting dolls online in various sizes and shapes. THIS particular set was the most versatile and exceptionally well made. Sanding is not required before painting. If parts are stuck, they will loosen over time. Give them a few turns and they should loosen enough to work with. Keep in mind that children will play with them and they will become very loose with time. I make heirlooms for my grandchildren and nephews/nieces. In this particular part I made my nephew and all the characters for the story "Mitten". It has small parts so you MUST keep an eye on your child while they are playing with it. This is not a toy that should be left unattended with children. BUT IF YOU WANT a really traditional Russian nesting doll they usually have 10 or more pieces in a set as they usually tell a story. The 7-5 piece matryoshka dolls are so easy that unless the artist is very creative, kids will quickly tire of them. The quality is very good, they were difficult to work not only because of the shape but also with big imperfections in the knots and many of them had to be sanded. If for any reason you receive a broken or damaged doll, I am sure you can get a replacement doll and a refund. I haven't had any problems, but I see that some people have. Just send it back and order again if accidents happen. You will not be disappointed! I just ordered 4 more of them. Ouch. I forgot to mention the price. you are very smart.
