I have two internet gateways from different vendors - one for work and one for home. I reboot both at least once a month for security reasons. From time to time, whoever controls my cameras, wireless light switch, thermostat, TV remote hub, etc. loses their wireless connection and needs to restart. So I have two situations where one or both gateways need to be reset periodically, which requires me to be physically where they are to do this. UIS-622B is the solution I was looking for. It provides the flexibility I need to manage gateways automatically, on a schedule, or manually. Installation is very easy if you ignore the accompanying documentation, which is almost useless (and I'm a technician whose job it is to install and configure things like this). One call to support and I got David to give me a quick start guide and within about 20 minutes I was up and running with the updated firmware. David's customer service was excellent. Configuring the power button is very simple. The schedule supports up to 20 separate schedules - Once, Days, Weekly or 1 to 60 minutes for any or all sockets or simply reset. I want to be able to schedule bi-weekly or monthly. Otherwise great! Update 2/24/20: This switch works so well that on February 19th I bought a second switch so I can control my two ISP gateways separately based on their IP addresses. The first configuration, with both gateways connected to the same switch, was good for resetting both gateways on a schedule, but was only able to monitor one router IP for errors. The second switch enables individual control of the gateways. For shutdowns. One switch manages a gateway and firewall on one network, and the other manages another gateway on a different network. Both restart weekly for security reasons. Still a five star purchase.
