Update: I've been using it daily since I've had it. I really like it and it works great. I've found that lifting is difficult for me and it's better if I use both hands. Also, the upstairs room is significantly smaller than what I've used in the past, which is inconvenient. My son put a lock on the front which I like and works great. I bought it from Lowe for $2. It's a little flimsy, but it works, and what can you expect for $2? It was listed on Revain for $9.95. It's worth shopping. Received it today so haven't used it for a long time but it arrived in great condition and works great. Although I already have a notification, some improvements are needed. The first thing I noticed is that it cannot be raised like traditional lap tables. What is needed is a hand on top like I've always used. It cannot be lifted without using both hands. If some wood was added, just a tiny bit, then there would be room to carve out a handle. Which brings me to the second missing element. In order not to tip everything in, it must be stored with the open end down. If it had a latch on the open end to lock it, it would be safer to handle. Those are my two suggestions for improvement. I'll update you guys on how it works in a few months.
