I thought it didn't fit my m+b m.2, but it worked without problems even though there is only one down button in the socket. It's a fairly slim, small, cool metal with a built-in LED. (Right now I only have USB 3.0) Seems to be good quality and runs at 230MB with crystal lettering, while mine is $50 and only runs at 220MB with the same drive. Cheap and fast, best of both worlds. worked with both wd blue and evo. I'll add a little here, I've been using it for a few months and there is one caveat. The piece of rubber holding the drive in place made the drive work twice. The first time I thought the hard drive was corrupted and reformatted. The second time I realized that the card just needs to be reinstalled. I'll probably come up with something safer. In addition, the compartment seems to open too easily, so it probably needs to be readjusted. The rest works great.
