I never give reviews. In fact, I can't remember when I left the last one. I like to do this when I'm overly interested in the item and really want others to know what they're getting before they buy. Life hated the product so much. The lid is terrible. When the locking mechanism works, the middle link is off. If all of this works beautifully the day you take out the trash, just make sure you're in a good mood before attempting to put another bag in, or you could impulsively destroy the entire product cleanly. Fury - the plastic ring is the worst structured mess I've ever seen. Is always. Did they do consumer testing on this junk (yes, pun). Look, if you are a saint with mountains of patience, a very gentle touch, and angels to help you every time you take out the trash, then this is for you. They haven't been touched by a holy hand, don't waste your money. Now I'm back here looking for another recycle bin simply because I can't handle it anymore. I'm happy (and eager!) to shell out an extra $30 to get rid of this plastic heap of hell.
