The lock is very secure but needs a software update.

I installed this lock on my home/garage door on Tuesday. I thought I entered the master code on the keyboard. I accidentally locked myself in my house yesterday. I had to call a locksmith. It took the locksmith about an hour to pick this lock. I think I hit the lock (transmission) button on my way out of the house and locked myself as a result. I wish the blocking would be better if the shift button and tick button were swapped. The locksmith said it was one of the most secure locks he had ever seen. He programmed me with three codes. I haven't set up wifi yet and will add more as I do. This lock was easy to install as I did it in less than an hour. Looks good on my door. Set up WiFi today. There was a light breeze. Locks and unlocks my iPhone and my husband's iPhone. The Apple Watch works with the application so that it can open the door for hours. I didn't put a thing in there that detects if the door is open. This is an update for this lock. I'm sick of this lock. The three codes programmed by the locksmith just beep and then flash so they no longer work. When it works, it works great, but it really needs a software update. I have wi-fi spectrum and this bridge connects horribly to my wi-fi spectrum. Today it took me more than five minutes to get into my house. The bridge is about eight feet from the lock and it doesn't connect even if it's that close. I usually use my Apple Watch app to unlock it, but today it just sat and blinked. I had to pull out my phone, go into the app, wait for the app to tell me it recognized the lock, and then finally unlock it. Considering I paid close to $200 for this lock, it should be faster. Now I have the key in the closet and I had to use it again to get into my house. My husband has a pile of junk in front of the closet so using the key is awkward. Yale, please get your IT guys involved.
