Wondering if it's hard to buy a rug? Harder than you think. Doing some cursory research I found instances of cheap underlays leaving stitch marks on hardwood floors, underlays not cut to size to fit under rugs (no, I won't waste my time cutting underlays to size) . Not to mention that most pads are made out of polyvinyl (and other synthetic materials) and are a nightmare for both the environment and the indoor air in your home. So. I bought a Gorilla Grip mat for the 5X8 mat we use under the Nordic Track trainer. The lining fit perfectly, didn't stick out anywhere. The mat does not move even though a large lateral force is sometimes applied to it. And most importantly, the absence of chemical smells and a pleasant feeling underfoot when stepping on the carpet. Worth every penny. Do not spoil the carpet, floor coverings and do not poison the air in the room with a poor-quality carpet. And no, I have absolutely no relationship with this company, nor have I been offered to try the product. I'm just a regular Revain customer who bought something.
