I was unable to bleed it after installing it. So I took it off and found that the piston was pushed in and held in place by a snap ring inserted by the servo brake rod. I had a second master cylinder M990312 which I then installed and got the same result. I then checked the original master cylinder and found that it had a piston retaining wire and no snap ring. So I replaced the snap ring with a wire retainer and the master cylinder worked fine. If the master cylinder had the correct piston retainer I would give it five stars.
