Update: Dangerous in 3D Printing Consumables

See our original review below. The color results we tested with this ABS were top notch. However, when we safety tested the products we made with this thread, all products made with a yellow dye (yellow, orange, and green) tested positive for unacceptable levels of lead. Colours. However, we can no longer recommend their threads in good conscience. We only tested these plastics for lead. We have no idea what other harmful substances might be in this product unless they are properly tested for safety. We can only talk about yellow, but next time we'll try green Kodak. The green and red prints in the photo are not Kodak, they are shown for comparison (Kodak is much better than the prints). Reviews of different filament brands were everywhere, so we tested a few. Several YouTubers highly recommended one brand, but it turned out to be the worst of them all. NO WEBSITE MENTIONS KODAK, but the Kodak thread was by far the best. We can't show you the top of the token in the review as it's branded with our own branding, but the bottom tells the best story anyway. Please take a look at the photo. Green and Red is a brand that comes highly recommended. Green is a threat. Red did just that. Notice the "noodles" around the edges of the red structure near the walls of the tile. Now check out the color green, which is pure spaghetti mayhem and keeps the token from stacking with its companions. Now look at Kodak Yellow. It's approaching perfection. All three tokens used the following settings. We understand that different brands and colors may require slightly different settings and we have tested different settings. In our test case, the following settings worked best for all brands and colors, but we don't want a green stamp to be our worst enemy no matter what settings they use. We're sticking with Kodak. Settings: Snapmaker 2.0 printer; masking tape with cheap hairspray for the surface (best result of several methods tried); ?) Print Temp: 245 C Top Thickness 1.92mm Infill Density 45% (yes that's a lot - we tried 15% and 30% and got gaps with other brands, we kept this setting at 45 to the end of our tests from leave other bottom fills can work with Kodak filament) IMPORTANT: turn on retraction, turn on retraction at shift change, retraction distance 1mm (direct drive nozzle), retraction speed 35mm). These retraction settings seem to reduce tension well. With the Kodak plate we had ZERO tension Plate adhesion: none (cheap hairspray tape will do all the work for you; cheap hairspray will produce better surface texture than good stuff).
