We bought these to make toys for our sugar gliders and couldn't be happier. We had a broken link, like the other reviewer's photo, but we just assumed something broke along the way and didn't worry too much about it. If you choose to use this for your gliders, be aware that tearing is not safe (applies to almost all C references). You need to take some aquarium hoses or cut some straws to fill the gap, otherwise your glider might get hurt because of the gap. It's not a flaw of this product, it's a simple fact with C-Links and gliders.
