Do not remove anything other than the two original screws. Slide the clutch onto the original plate. .
There is nothing wrong with this clutch. I have a Wrangler JL Unlimited Sahara. It started with no problems lol. Very easy with all devices. I wasn't sure about the torque of the bolts so I set them at 80 pounds. More than tight enough. I removed the two original numbered screws and then installed the hitch. I used 2 new screws, then 2 original screws. Fits like a glove with no space. Do not remove the bumper plate. It goes right over it.
