Review on 🛠️ MastaPlasta Self-Adhesive Leather & Vinyl Repair Roll - 60 x 4 Inch, Beige: Instant Fix for Damaged Upholstery by Michelle Langley

I used this on the inside of the driver's side armrest of a 2003 Infiniti i35. I completed the repair without disassembling the door by first making a template out of self-adhesive clear plastic roll film (a 24 inch wide roll commonly used as carpet and floor protection in home renovations). I pressed down the adhesive backing and took it with a new precision pocket knife and carefully cut the plastic without cutting the armrest from the bottom cardboard. Then I used another new precision blade and cut out the MastaPlast material, then peeled off the backing and carefully applied it to the armrest area, first machined the outer perimeter in place, then pressed inwards against the door and pinned eventually into the gap where the armrest meets the door. It worked great. I did a similar center console cover repair on the same car. I highly recommend this product, others I've tried just weren't sticky enough (I was finally able to use contact cement) and weren't as strong as the MastaPlasta material.
