The product description says it is a USB 3.0 device capable of recording 1080p at 60Hz. This is incorrect as the device only runs at USB 2.0 speed and can only record 1080p30hz/720p60hz. This is not possible with USB 3.0 as it lacks the extra 5 pins in USB A that are required for USB 3.0 to work. This means that it is physically a USB 2.0 device and they are trying to impersonate it as USB 3.0 by making the USB A port blue. In addition, the recording quality suffers greatly. Everything has a fuzzy texture and the colors are a bit washed out. The audio is very quiet and generally sounds like it's coming from a tube. The overall video/audio quality is very similar to that of a digital to analog converter. I assume they use HDMI->DAC->ADC->USB to properly implement HDCP. I do not recommend.
