Review on 🎨 DANIEL SMITH Watercolor, Jean Haines Master Artist Set - 10 Watercolor Tubes (5ml each), Total 10 Pieces - 285610223 by Gelin Battle

I have used Daniel Smith paints for many years but avoid iridescent/pearlescent colours. Mainly because I was frustrated with some mineral paints from Primatek (which everyone else seems to like). I have found that some of them leave a shine that is too heavy and grainy. However, I saw the video and thought the price for the set was good. THAT is what I was looking for - especially iridescent white and topaz. I love painting underwater scenes and it adds just the right amount of sparkle. While you can use them straight from the tube, the key is to mix them with other colors. They blend perfectly - no mess. And even saved some of the ugly colors I bought, like Holbien's very disappointing perm green. Pearl white seems to go with everything (all I've tried with a few other brands besides DS like W&N, Holbien, Sennelier). Topaz gives really interesting effects too, but any other color will work.
