Review on Ultimate ColdGear Compression Leggings for Men: Under Armour's Innovative Solution for Optimal Performance by Christian Byrd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent "Coldgear "

This is an informative note rather than a full review. This type of leggings is used for all sports that I do not use them for and cannot speak about their usefulness for these purposes. I bought mine for a daily 5k run followed by another 5k walk for a break - literally haha. I'm 5'6", not skinny, not fat, not muscular and on the high end of the "normal" BMI weight range. .Medium fits me perfectly - which is my usual size for UA tight and compression garments. It is tight but doesn't pinch and I don't ask to leave it when I get back from my routine They are as comfortable as compression stockings Fleece lined inside I have other Cold Gear tights that are unlined but They work just as well but I think they add to the comfort.I wear them in temperatures between 30-45 (no wind chill.) Even in wind force 25 they keep me warm.My usual routine lasts an hour but only 25-30 minutes run away. The rest is running which I exercise less which I think says a lot about these leggings. My legs are short but probably not a problem for 99% of the population. I try to buy 3/4 length leggings but in winter they are rare for males in. But despite the length, the excess doesn't bother me as I'm wearing a jogger over it. As a final note, I would like to point out that they appear to be intended as a base layer and not for solo wear. The crotch area "breathes" and is slightly visible. So you must at least wear shorts over it.
