Review on Hornady Digital Caliper 500806 with Enhanced SEO by Dexter Rasberry

I have had a set of these Hornady calipers since 2013 and they have been very good. It was smooth, accurate (as evidenced by some Mitutoyo calipers I have too) and excellent value for money. I needed another one and based on my previous experience with it ordered another Hornady. Unfortunately, the current model doesn't even come close to the quality of the first. The first one I got was practically non-functional. The sliding portion of the caliper did not lock well after about 4 inches of travel with visible machine marks and rough track. I ordered two more, thinking I was just unlucky. Of the two, one worked properly and was acceptable. The second suffered from the same problems as the first, but to a lesser extent. I sent two of these back and kept one for myself.
