I bought this to protect my new 2021 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Long Bed Truck because I don't have a garage to put it in yet. I washed the truck earlier the day the cap was delivered and the color was absolutely spotless - I know this because the washing brushes left little streaks of plastic on various spots on the truck so I went around the truck and buffed those spots with a microfiber fabric. When I was done, the whole look was flawless. I parked the truck, put the cover on the next morning and took it off again today (for a day). During that 1 day it was fogged up and the inside of the lid and truck were dry. But the comforter had scratched the paint on the side of the bed, just below the top edge of the sheet. I cannot recommend this product and will be returning mine. If your paint is already scratched, continue. But if you're trying to protect your car from the outside, buy a padded cover.
