was only waterproof for eight months. Now when I put it on the truck and take it off, the truck is coated with residue of white powder that I have to wash off, completely negating the use of the coating.

Dressed like a glove, soft, worked 3 years, in the middle of the 3rd year the material started to peel off so badly that a hole could be punched with a fist. I think $79 for that money. It was ok, hence 3 stars.

I like the weight. I wish the trunk would have outlined the truck's cab better so it would fit nicely. Whatever it is, it pulls the back end up a bit so it doesn't even hang down at the hem like other brands do. Make both front and back tags. And we'll see how long this one lasts compared to our previous brands.

The first thing I did after putting the cover on was spray it with water from a hose to see how well it repels water. Guess what? All the water went through the lid as if it wasn't there. How the hell can you call that "waterproof"? Totally disappointed because that's why I paid over $100 for a truck cover in the first place! So I can leave my truck outside!

Purchased on a 1971 f250. Fits well. It's waterproof for the first 10 months, water collects on top of the cover over the truck bed and pulls the lid down so you may need to use a stick to pitch a tent over the platform to allow water to run down the sides can. Be sure to use ties or cords for the wind. Lasted exactly 10 months in temperate California before completely falling apart. So basically $8 a month to protect my truck from the sun and bird shit. Seems worth it I think?

It really keeps out the rain and ice. The fabric is fairly soft to the touch, but strong and not "plastic". During the last freezing rain and ice storm, all the ice (and rain) was left outside and formed a hard shell. None entered. It fits my 4 seater cabin perfectly for a 'size' coverage that is not 'tailor made'. I have had Budge products in the past and they have been fine. but this cover, designed to be picked up without a topper or cover, is NOT PERMITTED. Arrived today, it's raining today.
