So it was used for 8 months on Kawasaki KLR 650 in the tropics in Trinidad. after 8 months the case was still like new inside, the strap system still worked great even after a few good streams, although the outer case did get some sun damage and fading, the fabric of the case was still waterproof, not cracked or broken. So yeah, not cheap stuff, but if it survived under the tropical sun, it should have survived anywhere. I would buy it again but it's still in good condition after being over a year old. it was half the time on the bike so about 6 months in the scorching sun
