2004 Expedition Universal Door Sill Protectors

With a bit of tweaking and time they worked great on my 2004 Expedition. 1 1/2 hours for the first assembly with additionally purchased magazine on double-sided tape, then 30 minutes for screwing the next weekend. It took 2 packs of footpegs to cover all 4 doors of the SUV. Cut the protrusion at a 90 degree angle, then slowly trim it to length with sharp scissors using the masking tape as a guide edge at the bottom of the screen. Put it in the sun for a while to pre-bend it, and then put a large amount of tape on the screen. Two 1/2" wide strips on each flat side of the stepped sign and then installed on the SUV. Always clean surfaces to be bonded with rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth. I had to add self tapping screws to hold them in place. Because there wasn't enough tape around all the edges they would have increased a bit. 8 black screws in each front door panel and 6 in each back door panel. Evenly and along the edges. Then reinstall the screw. Don't over tighten. I just used a drill, to cut the screws and then a screwdriver by hand to tighten them this is not a problem and they seem more durable and secure I am really happy with the finished work.
