I should have read the description more carefully. These are very narrow cotton strips. I can usually split the cotton in two, stretch it out, and force it to snap into the area where I need it. Since this is already a narrow strip, it won't look right when I try to split it. It's nice and thick, though, and if you're looking for an 8-inch band then this will fit.
