The perfect set of 2! The work of a great amazing brand!

The steel is in good condition, at some point you may need to spice up your dishes. If food sticks to the surface or you notice a dull gray color, repeat the seasoning process:* Rinse dishes with hot, soapy water and a stiff brush. (Soap can be used this time as you prepare to re-season the utensil.) *Rinse and dry completely* Apply a very thin, even coat of solid vegetable shortening MOLTEN (or cooking oil of your choice) to the utensil. Dishes inside and out. Too much oil can result in a sticky finish.* Place aluminum foil on the bottom rack of the oven (not directly on the floor) to collect drips.* Set the oven temperature to 350-400 degrees F.* Set that Place cookware upside down on top rack of oven to prevent buildup.* Bake for at least 1 hour. After an hour, turn off the oven and allow the dishes to cool in the oven.* Store the dishes uncovered in a dry place when they have cooled.* Repeat the process if necessary. "The Dutch Oven and frying pan are made by the wonderful American company LODGE. Lodge Manufacturing is a cast iron cookware manufacturer based in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee. Founded in 1896 by Joseph Lodge, Lodge Manufacturing is one of America's oldest tableware companies. It is still owned and operated by descendants of the Lodge family. Most of the iron sold by Lodge comes from its foundry in South Pittsburgh, which has been in operation since the company's inception. Lodge Manufacturing is the only remaining manufacturer of cast iron cookware in the United States. Click YES if this review was helpful to you.
