I bought this to test with Linux. Using Ubuntu and Bluetooth Manager, the dongle works, but performance varies. Seemed very sensitive to objects between the dongle and the BT device. The Sony earbuds would occasionally turn off when my hands were between them, even though the earbuds were only 20 inches from the button. Keyboards and mice, same results. The Linux BT Manager showed large differences in transfer rates even when the devices were stationary. I'm looking at the registry settings on Windows and see if there's an antenna diversity setting missing on Linux.
